Not everyone can be an artist just because paint is cheap.Whatever you're doing as a hobby you have to focus on what you're trying to demonstrate. If you want to be a director then focus on framing shots, camera position, camera movement, etc. It doesn't matter that the quality of the image isn't professional, it's where the camera is looking that proves your ability.If you want to be a writer then demonstrate your ability to write good dialog. If you want to be an actor then practice saying lines. There are no shortage of plays out there you can test your chops out with.If you want to be a photographer then put in the legwork to go to interesting places and get the shot. If you're good people will notice that the only complaint they have is the limited clarity of the image and they'll give you a better camera and tell you to keep doing what you're doing.Work with what you have and build up from there. At some point people will recognize that the only thing missing is better equipment and pay you to use it.

You know what. I'll be the first to stick my neck out and say that I DO NOT hate hollywood. It's become a bloated ***** factory though. And i'm not happy about it. What I take particular objection to, however, is that assertion that if we do not support this and other treaties to pervert copyright then we are somehow against these people. That they be given control of our televisions, our movie players, so that they can see what we're doing on our own property with our own possessions? My autistic 5-year old is really, really bad at reading faces. The best way he learned to understand what we were feeling was this: we had him memorize what a particular facial expressions meant and match it to an emotion: sad, angry, happy...he still doesn't quite 'get it', but at least when he tosses yet another Matchbox car down the potty and flushes, he realizes why steam is coming out of my ears.

There's not a damn thing human's can do at this point that would lead to the planet's demise. It's been going on for billions of years, and all we will do is kill ourselves and probably take a lot of species with us. It's happened in the planet's past, and if it happens again (but manmade) the only thing that will be gone is us. The planet will be fine.
