I don't like MM either, but this joke was awful.
Being from the Midwest, tornadoes, as dangerous as they are, will not blow away your home every freaking year. There are homes that get flooded every year and the owners cry for help all the time.As for NO, living below sea level hoping a man-made levee will hold forever is a precarious way to live. What if Al Gore is right and sea levels soar, would you live behind a 30 foot high levee?

“It's a very appropriate title given the fact that they'll end up persecuting innocent people and their entire philosophy is based upon ignorance and fear.

I didn't think it would happen without Republican support. One hand I'm glad it could still be passed, on the other, I've thought this the entire time, this is such a big bill that it should need support from both sides before anyone is comfortable with it passing, but time and time again the Republicans have shown how stubborn they are. This is the problem with a 2 party system. People get so scared from their party that they pretty much have to vote along their parties lines or they will be labeled an outcast. I'm saying this for both parties. I honestly can't believe all Dems think this is the good and all Reps think this is bad. There were people from both sides who were on the edge on which way to vote, but look what they did. They stuck with party lines. This is the problem with lobbyist. They put so much money in the pockets of people they are scared to vote for/against something cause the money lining their pockets is too good to have stopped. The same can be said as the last paragraph. I'm sure many followed where the money was coming from, not just this vote, but all..
The portrait needs no captions.!

It's not that the city has cleaned up, it's that anybody who squealed about how dirty it is had a terrible tragedy befall them.
