The inevitable problem here becomes... why ever wake up? Put me in a pod and make me a rock-star and use my heat to power the computer overlords who rule under the blackened sky... as long as the steak is tasty and the Italian leather in my spyder is soft...
So who called him?

The Mayans were wrong; the world will end in late 2009.?
I'm saying that for $15,000, an independent film team made a horror movie that was on par with if not better than most of the million dollar horror films that big studios have put out recently. If you look at with that perspective then yes, it was a good movie if not at least a step in the right direction. A lot of artist, both musicians and film makers, have had a very difficult time for years competing because of the caste like system set up by major labels and Hollywood studios; you were either on top making millions or starving. The more the internet has developed, the more this ratio has begun to even out because people have more choices, and its a very good thing. From my own experience as an electronic musician, I can now sell music to fans all over the world that I would not have been able to reach years ago without being funded by some major label distribution. Just to get my music on local radio stations I would have to have a 100 people call in to hear a song because the "yes master" DJ's already had a set list given to them by execs who didn't give a damn about the quality of the music, just the modernized payola the were receiving. Things are changing... |

Wanted to dig this article because the ban on cat declawing was a great thing, but the article was written in a wholly sarcastic tone, meant to portray the city council as lazy, misguided, and possibly corrupt. Douchebag author.
